Trey Doty is an experienced nonprofit professional whose entrepreneurial approach has emerged from his leadership in grantmaking, higher education, church planting, and community service organizations. He is frequently sought out to inspire organizations and individuals to creatively engage donors, board members, executives, and volunteers in achieving their mission.
As the founder of two nonprofits, he understands the challenges that organizations face during critical transition periods. He provides the fund development and strategic leadership perspective that assist not-for-profit executives and boards as they navigate a changing reality. Whether it is establishing a fund development program in a longstanding organization (George Fox University, Portland Seminary) or scaling a not-for-profit from local to national influence (Responder Life) he looks forward to the moments he is able to catalyze health and sustainability in the life of an organization.
In addition to his daily involvement with The ATC, Trey currently serves as President for Responder Life, an organization serving first responders. Additionally, he is a chaplain for a federal law enforcement agency and serves in a leadership capacity for numerous organizations throughout the PacNW.
Trey received a B.S. in Sociology/Social Work from George Fox University and his Master of Divinity from George Fox University.
